Fear as a Motivator in Hamlet

As such, her suicide is the crazed act of a woman scorned, much better suited for arguing a completely different thesis. So throughout Hamlet, the point remains strong: a person will choose to be rather than not to be, for fear of the consequences of the latter choice.
