I found that our average velocity for the mass was 164.32 cm/s and our results for average acceleration of gravity was 440.3 cm/s/s. ssI feel that this method isn’t too accurate due friction, and the hammer striking the tape every .019 seconds for us, which causes the tape to slow down every .019 seconds. However it did help me get an understanding of free fall, and acceleration of gravity.
