…Arrogance is shown when Frost writes “my apple trees will never get across, and eat the cones under his pines. This statement shows that he believes he is a more intelligent than his neighbor thus feeling that he needs to explain why the wall is unnecessary. He thinks he will never be like his neighbor whether there is a wall or not. Frost gives a very dark view of the human race in “Mending Wall”.
