By having a gay and lesbian literary category, learning about something unfamiliar can finally be made understandable. A class specializing in the reading of sexuality or focusing the gay and lesbian reading category will help to properly understand the new found material. There is no reason why having a gay and lesbian literary category would be harmful. If someone doesn’t want to read this type of material, they won’t have to because it will be in it’s own category.
