…is also a double standard concerning male and female adulterers. It is more accepted among men than it is among women. Stereotypes include that men are more tempted to cheat than women are, and it is part of a man’s biology to be promiscuous. The question we are left with from integrating information is: Is infidelity a natural and in some cases unavoidable circumstance or are these impulses unnatural and for the weak minded?
