…stretched over 14 miles long. Nearly a hundred and sixty thousand men fought in that battle of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Of the 160,000, about 51,000 men died in those three days. The battle resulted in a decisive Union victory, a crushing blow to the Southern backbone. Maybe it even saved the Union. Pass on this story to those who come after you who have read this.
