Give Them More Money

Student-athletes should be paid for there extra time and work invested in their college. Colleges have profited off of these student-athletes for many years. The student-athletes have made too many sacrifices not to be rewarded financially. The 466-page NCAA rulebook on scholarship student-athletes is very confusing. …longer until the issue is resolved? The answer is not simple, but attainable. The students do not need to get rich, but they should be able to live more comfortably. The NCAA should institute an hourly pay scale. Athletes should have a minimum wage that increases with school grades and level of college. This should also include bonuses for any extra play due too tournaments and championships. Times have changed; student-athletes have now become athlete-students.
