Since the beginning of human interaction there has always been the idea of a higher being. These ideas evolved into organized religions, which play a big role in our lives. Those who believe in the existence of a god or gods are theist, and those who do not are atheists. Both of these are reasonable ways of thinking, and one is not better than the other. …part, when you die you are nothing. But I find it more comforting to hope that when I die, I am still in my own mind, or reincarnated, or in heaven. I want god to exist, I want to live after I die, but the fact is that we will never know in our lifetime, so I try not to get hopes up. I don’t believe in god, but I hope there is one.
