…animals’ habitat. She was a courageous woman who began to open up people’s eyes. This book was truly inspirational. It showed me how ethologist used to work and all of the hardships and dedication it can take to be one. Diane truly wrote an excellent book that combined not only all of her scientific knowledge of the gorillas, but also her personal experiences and views on what it will take the gorillas to survive.
