Gregor Mendel

Gregory Mendel was born in Heinzeindorf Austria in 1822. Mendel parents were very poor, t hats why he worked as a gardener. But he didn’t let that affect him. But it wasn’t until the early 20th century that other scientist’s took note of the 19th century genius. Mendel's work and theories, later became the basis for the study of modern genetics, and are still recognized and used today. Mendel is known as us today as the Father of Genetics.
