Growing Up

an event that has influenced the most was my parents’ one-month long trip back to Hong Kong, my home country. In that month, I learned a lot of things. I realized how much my parents mean to me, and how hard it is to raise a child by taking care of myself. At the beginning of the month, I felt like I was a bird released from a cage; finally had freedom of my own. …

…that my parents have come back home. I asked them why they didn’t tell me when you come back, and they said they wanted to give me a surprise. I sure was surprised and happy because I wanted parents to come back and I miss them badly. After that, I found out myself have changed; I have been better to them than before and I have less arguments with them after they came back.
