…It is clearly perceived that Mencken captured artist to represent full benevolence. After careful observations it is not hard to see that artist are people and differ, like the job they perform. There are many artist who do meet Mencken’s descriptions ;there are also those who only entertain and don’t transcend any other type of emotion. Mencken’s theory was on the right course, there is room in it for change and improvement.
