Ultimately, Cladius’ scheming caught up with him and led to not only his downfall, but also the downfall of Denmark. A lesson can be learned from Cladius and that is that lies and lack of moral good may pay off in the short term, but eventually “what goes around comes around” and it finally “came around” on Cladius.
