now, to mock your own grinning? quite chap-fallen?” Here, Hamlet really gets a feel for death. You can tell his emotions are sad and sorrowful by his reaction to finding the skull. He says “he hath borne me on his back a thousand times; and now, how abhorred in my imagination it is! my gorge rims at it”. That line shows his emotions of finding the skull as “abhorred”, which is a synonym of hate.
