Hard Times

I was sixteen years old, ready to enter my sophomore year in high school. My parents were in the middle of what I call a nasty divorce. This was definitely a horrible summer. …was a tough summer. Through that summer I learned a lot. Most importantly, I learned that family is a very important part of my life. I don’t talk to my father anymore, but that doesn’t bother me. If he wanted to be a part of my life, he would have made an effort.
