What Does Hebrew Literature Say About God's Relationship with Man? Hebrew literature says that God is all loving, all-powerful, and all knowing. It also says that God will test His peoples’ faith, like He did with Abraham and Isaac. Abraham had complete and utter trust in God, and Isaac had the same trust in Abraham. The question that I ask is, if God had let Abraham go ahead and slaughter Isaac, would God have been
being sincere when we go to mass and when we are praying. Hebrew literature basically explains to us how God expects us to live. Because of the fact that He is all loving, he will forgive us if we mess up. Because he is omnipotent, He will choose the consequences of our decisions, although we make our decisions. And, because He is all knowing, He knows what choices we make and what results we expect.
