…that if you mess with the United States, you must suffer the consequences. "Uncle Sam put your name at the top of his list and the Statue of Liberty started shaking her fist" is telling how the government went directly after the perpetrators and that Americans were angered over the situation. I think this song describes the majority American people, because of the way so many people came together in this time of great turmoil.
