…had known what her consequences were, and possibly was too proud to give Creon the satisfaction of taking her life, so she took it herself. In conclusion, I believe that Creon and Antigone are very similar in character, but what separated them was that when they were both faced with an ultimate consequence like death, Creon backs down and rethinks his judgment. Antigony however, remained oblivious to her inferiority and the consequences of her actions.
