Kids want to feel independent, it is very important to them, and it is a way for them to fit in. They do this in many different ways; some just dress the way that they want to, but others do much worse and get …

…acted the way they did. So for a young boy to go against his dad’s opinion of clothing isn’t that bad at all. He is expressing his own self, fitting in with the crowd and most of all being independent. So the slight turn of the baseball cap that sits on his head or those parachute pants (so his father calls them) on his legs are all part of being an independent kid.
