…Hillsboro represents every town and city in the world where the children are 'protected' from certain ideas, which more often than not are considered by many to be great discoveries and theologies, and are fed the beliefs and values their parents feel they ought to acquire. The future is dependant on the children and if one gets caught up preserving the past, it is impossible to allow the children to move forward into the future.
