…I think this would describe one of the main themes of both books. Jane Eyre also would realize that no matter how things might seem in the beginning she could change them to improve her life in the end. That her life was her own and no one but Jane could decide what to do with it. This should be everyone’s goal, to improve our lives and make them the best that we can.
