He did all of this in a pursuit to enhance his own image, to gain national prominence, and even to leave a legacy as the greatest Communist headhunter in our contemporary government. For awhile his image was enhanced and he gained notoriety but in the end he would be uncovered as a fraud and a liar who ruined other people’s lives in an attempt to enhance his own.
