Jose’s Café In the fall of September 2001, my dad and I, along with six of my friends and their dads, traveled south to a little city in South Texas named Cotulla. As an annual tradition, we go to Cotulla, partly to male bond, but mainly to hunt white-winged doves. Cotulla is known to hunters as one of the greatest places to hunt doves. …end to a perfect day. I experienced the thrill of hunting doves and had the most excellent food I have ever indulged in. The extra ingredients and the extra time it takes to prepare the taste bud craving food, must me the reason Jose’s Café is such a popular place to eat. The men and women’s dedication of making great Mexican food is why Jose’s Café is my favorite place to eat.
