A mirror proposes a dualistic nature. One may say that mirrors present people and things very truthfully; mirrors depict reality. Despite any dissimilarities between mothers and daughters, the disposition and character passed on to the daughter undeniably binds her to her mother. The mother provides her daughter with the knowledge of their heritage to help her deal with her life and know her own identity. Mothers shape us into who we are.
