The notion of ‘justice?evokes many emotions and opinions. Does justice work for everyone? Or, is it theoretical system that can never function in our society? Our justice system has changed dramatically from the days of the capital punishment. There is upsurge of criminal rate and consequently the prisons are virtually flooded with offenders. …practice. Imposing capital punishment is nothing short of a crime. An unadulterated justice is hard to gain in our society. Justice is often not effectively and equally applied across the broad society. However, the Australian justice system has improved greatly since the 1950s. Regardless of the change, within ‘justice?there exist many faults that have to be assessed. Justice will never be served, as long as we have our own perception and scales of justice.
