Last of The Mohicans
Last Of The Mohicans V. Rime Of The Ancient Mariner There are both similarities and differences between Last of the Mohicans and Rime of the Ancient Mariner. Both of these tales are considered to be epics. James Fenimore Cooper and Samuel Taylor Coleridge were both “Romantics.” Both were “Romantics” but Cooper was an “American Romantic” while Coleridge was a traditional “English Romantic.” Both were great stories , but only one was made into a major motion
They also have their differences. It is just a contrast in style between the two authors. Just like there would be differences and similarities between any other two stories or authors. Two things these stories and authors will always share in common is the fact that they are two of the greatest romantic epics ever written, and the fact that they were written by two of the greatest authors in their time and maybe ever.
