Liberalism or Empathy?

It is my opinion that a truly liberal minded person looks beyond outward appearances of others and does not judge others based on race, religion, class, sexual orientation or any other social grouping. …people. It doesn’t appear that he does this out of an honest interest to do so as much as it is to evoke a response from his mother. Julian plays on the difference in race in his quest for self worth.
