“Little Man In a Fix”

“Little Man in a Fix” is a folk dance. Folk dancing Is the oldest for of dance. It has been a basic part of culture as far back as historians and archeologist can find records of man. The emotions and activities of work, worship, war, sowing, harvesting, courtship, and marriage are all represented in the movements of dance. As the other couple are doing the dance the couple in the fix just stand their and circle and do running steps. When the other couples finish doing the steps then people switch partners and the couple in the fix have to run and get another couple so they will not be in a fix anymore.
