Lord of the Flies
The Lord of the Flies occurs on an island, and yet many of it’s features represent parts of society. What features are they, what do they represent and how successful are they on the island? Although William Golding’s, ‘the Lord of the Flies’, occurs on an island, many of it’s features clearly represent a microcosm of the society we live in today. Most of these features are conveyed successfully, yet some are
it’s knees. The focus on this essay was to explain the features represented in William Golding’s, the Lord of the Flies, determining whether these features of society were successful or not if put on a island with a group of innocent school boys. As discovered, only one of these features were truly sucessful.
