Lord of the Flies : Leadership
Through out time, leaders have possessed many different qualities and characteristics that made them effective and efficient leaders. Many of these qualities are represented in characters, in the book, “Lord of the Flies” by William Golding. The protagonist, Ralph, starts off as the leader of a tribe of boys, but then, another boy, Jack, overtakes Ralph and the tribe, becoming the leader. Different decisions and actions lead to the development of leadership qualities of both
to do what’s best in the long run, works. He was the only child rescued from the island, and if more people had listened to him, they would have been saved too. Jack’s style of doing as you please, works at the moment, and only at the moment. He caused many fatalities, and caused none of his tribe to be rescued. Both of their styles were effective, but eventually, Jack’s monarchy failed.
