…Louie is lost, but lost about what? I believe he’s lost between the definition of right and wrong, as well as, the difference between words and actions. Was Grandma Kurnitz, Bella, and Louie lost? Yes they were, but for different reasons. Grandma was lost within her emotional pain, Bella is lost in her desires, and Louie is lost in his actions. As you can see, Neil Simon appropriately chose the title Lost in Yonkers.
