…Scoresby’s luck helped the British to Defeat the Russians. In the end of the paragraph we see how nobody can see Scoresby stupidity behind his luck. Marshal Canrobert was dizzy with astonishment. Mark Twain uses the word “dizzy” to connote that something unbelievable has happed. The bigger challenge Scoresby gets, the bigger blunder he makes. The bigger blunder he makes, the luckier he is.
