Macbeth did go crazy, because he saw the floating daggers, which made him go kill Duncan with his own dagger. When Macbeth had sent out the murderers to kill Banquo it was for the self-perseverance of being king. In Conclusion, Macbeth is not evil, but he does has some goodness in him.
