The coffee maker chirps sweetly telling me its morning brew is ready and waiting …

…machines can perform logical operations because human beings built them to do so. But, I really feel that there is characteristics built into machines by their creators, inventors and builders that give them life and attract us to them. Even though a brand name of a certain machine is all built the same I can identify a quirk in one machine that I dislike and I will buy another because it behaves to my liking.
