…inhumane acts to one another. We don’t always mean to do what we do, but, the fact is, we do them, and in one way or another, we must pay for it. Gene pays for it in the worst way, through the death of his best friend, Phineas. Leper loses his mind because of inhumane acts. We may not pay for these acts though jail-time, but we can, and do pay through our emotions.
