Mars
Mars Mars is the fourth planet from our Sun, and the last of the inner planets. We live on the third, orbiting the Sun at a distance that maintains water oceans and conditions that have supported life for around four billion years. Mars is about half the size of Earth and has two moons, Phobos and Deimos. Its surface is red due to the oxidation of iron in the soil. The Martian atmosphere is 100 times
while winter is long and cold. To Humans, Mars is the next planet that must be dealt with in matters of reaping its natural resources. It is close enough to believe that within the next couple of decades, the people of Earth could conceivably land and take advantage of Mars’ natural resources. The Red Planet is soon within human reach, and is to be depended on for Earth’s growth and survival as a planet.
