Maudie Vs Alexandra
The differentiation in several people’s character is what turns a good book into a great book. Although it may seem that Miss Maudie and Aunt Alexandra have nothing in common besides the Ladies Missionary Society that is not completely factual. Both have many of the same perspectives and qualities in common. The contrasts and comparisons of these to characters assists the reader by placing letting the reader know them individually, and helps by placing
she wants them in and lets the reader see she is only worried about letting them know they are “Finches”. Although there are many characters in the book that do have some of the same traits in common it is their differences that make them unique. Aunt Alexandra and Miss Maudie is one of these sets of characters. Maybe throwing both of these things into the book is what makes it into a great book.
