…common and many times woman can be more powerful than men, but to see it in Greek mythology is so unique. I think he wrote it to let us in on opposing sides of the human experience. He was not necessarily giving justification for Medea’s actions, but leaving it open for us to decide for ourselves. It has become a very significant story for study and a very intriguing one to try and interpret.
