The shoreline touched him cold, As cold as the life being drained from each veins of his weary body. Was life fairly warned? The once so beautiful harbor was not so, its waters, once as blue and clear as the future he had planned, was now a trademark of defeat. …do what they had to do. Bombs away! Each to remind them of their lost companions. In the end, 150,000 lives were dissipated. There were no boxes and no one to parade through the streets. Justice may have been too harsh but a clear message was sent across. America was not a country to rival with. Could there have been a way to prevent this? The answer lies in your interpretation.
