…relatively minuscule countries. The U.S. tried desperately to force peace between these countries, but has not yet been able to ensure peace for itself. Clearly the U.S. has not fought in vain, it has set the basis for non-U.S. intervention for the future, also hopefully its own peace with these countries. The future relations of the United States and these counties are unknown, but the prospect of peace is greater than ever.
