Movie Monsters
The cinematic flop, “Spiders”, has many fictitious attributes about its main character the tarantula. I found that the movie’s greatest mistake was keeping the spider proportional to its weight. Hollywood seems to be perpetually failing when they create their movie monsters, and succeeded to fail with this movie also. Throughout the movie the tarantula becomes greater and greater in size. Starting out, the spider was consistent with the size found in nature. Each time
physically no chance it would be able to. I also liked that the spiders could walk on such a low surface friction object like glass. We all know that a creature that size would need much more surface friction to perform a stunt like that or they would have no traction. And finally knowing how loud that small spider was, it would be insanity trying to bear the decibel level produced by a large spider.
