My Definition of War in Bosnia

My Sarajevo, the “hart” of Europe was bleeding cruelly for a five years in a unjust war, that lot of “ people” called religious, unresolved historical conflict, Multiethnical, Civil… All those names were just to justify raping, slaughtering, killing, and very vivid nouns such as mass-graves, concentration camps, and “rivers” of people on muddy roads. And before, Sarajevo was my pride, big cool brother, best friend, teddy bear that knew all my little problems, and dried …

…for the world peace. Worst of all it was the war against bosnian-children’s dreams, hopes and wishes. I am still trying to collect scattered pieces of myself , scattered with a one shell that massacred two hundred people, waiting in a line for water. But I am not the only one that bleeds, there is almost million Bosnians like me, scattered around the world hoping and praying that everything will be, like it was before.
