My Goals As A Writer

I have been particularly looking forward to taking English all year unlike many of my classmates, who see this course as a nuisance and a burden. Although I am a pre-medicine major, I hope to expand on my abilities as a writer because of the importance of written communication in every day life… after all, where would we be nowadays without letters, e-mails, and even simple notes? …could not edit or expand on my work to the extent I would have preferred. By the end of this semester, I hope to regain what I deem an acceptable standard of writing. I would also like to learn more about the various styles of writing, and become familiar enough with them to use them at will. Improving on my persuasive techniques in writing would also be beneficial, and I hope to accomplish this too.
