Nature in Wordsworth

Nature in Wordsworth’s poems Let me start of by saying I have never been much of a poetry reader. I prefer clearly written stories with easily discernable plots. That being said, I enjoyed Wordsworth’s poems. Well, the parts I could understand at least. I noticed a running motif of Nature through most of his poems. …they appreciate nature because it reminds them of where they came from. As the children grow older they begin to forget. In the end the speaker seems to be enjoying nature, asking the birds to sing and having children dance around and play. In both poems the speaker is focusing on his own memory of nature and his personal relationship to it and it seems that this is a common motif in Wordsworth’s poems.
