Navaho Indians

The Navaho Indians first came into conflict with the Mexicans and Pueblo Indians. The Navahos often got their wealth from raiding the Mexicans to the south. They had been retaliating against the Mexicans because of the fact that the Mexicans would steal their children and make them into slaves. I think Indians were extraordinary people because they had very few diseases, until Americans brought with them: small pox, measles, and other various illnesses which also wiped-out many Indians. Throughout the centuries Indians played a major role in American history because they‘ve showed us medicinal uses and survival techniques. We now know the suffering and hardships that the Indians endured. Learning about these brave assiduous humans reminds us how fortunate we are today.
