The dominated the everyday life of ordinary people and made it impossible to escape the influence of Nazism in their work, their family life and in their thinking. Although some prosperity was brought through various economic and social reforms including “Strength through Joy” the underlying fact that its rule was based on terror and propaganda with the SS and Joseph Goebbels remained the basis of its control.
