When comparing and contrasting the self teachings of Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X there is much to consider. While Martin Luther King Jr. questioned theories, Malcolm X read letters and tried to improve his education. …Malcolm X found the outside world through the jail library and the text of the books he read. He leaned on past experiences to drive his mind to learn more. With the understanding that the two men came from similar times the outcome of their lives was very unpredictable.
