Norway Norway is a northern European country occupying the western and northern parts of the Scandinavian Peninsula. It’s a little larger then the size of New Mexico. It’s capital and largest city Oslo is located in the southeast corner of the country. The estimated population of 1995 is about 4, 357, 000 and is growing at about 0.5% (96 Encarta). It is definitely a country that most people don’t realize how important they are to the world’s economy. There is some of the most interesting places and people there and maybe someday I’ll get a chance to visit there.
