Of Mice and Men
Of Mice and Men By: John Steinbecks George and Lennie are an unlikely pair of friends who are introduced in the beginning. George is “small and quick, dark of face, with restless eyes and sharp, strong features.” Lennie contradicts George because he is a “huge man, shapeless of face, with large pale eyes, with wide sloping shoulders, and he walks heavily.” Lennie loves to pet soft animals such as mice and other things, this gets
with her death, so he leaves the scene. When the other men find her the first thing they suspect is Lennie. Curley is now going to shoot Lennie as soon as he finds him, but George thinks that it is his place to end Lennie's life and he shoots Lennie directly in the back of the head. So in conclusion, I like this book a lot even though at times I felt a little teary.
