Her optimism shines through because she has been through adversity yet she still sees the best in people and chooses to make a difference in their lives. …

…would not be where she is today. Oprah can attribute a great deal of her success to her optimistic attitude. She had all the odds against her and conquered them. Experiences have not kept her from seeing the best in people. Now she has the world at her feet and she chooses to make a positive difference in the lives of others. These characteristics truly make Oprah Winfrey an excellent example of an optimistic person.
